Cyrus' father Billy Ray was a part of the film Doc (2001). Cyrus took the choice to get into acting around this time. She played alongside her father, Doc (2001), in the initial part of this film. She also starred in an unimportant character in Tim Burton's Big Fish. Cyrus appeared as the leading character in Hannah Montana (2006). The show revolves around an adolescent girl who is secretly the world's biggest pop star. Her father also starred alongside her. The performance was huge and hit records as well as sell-out shows and merchandising deals soon came. Cyrus became a teen superstar. Following the success of Hannah Montana (2006), Cyrus moved to other roles, including the role of Ronnie Miller in The Last Song (2010) as well as Lola in LOL (2012) with Demi Moore.
